the Holidays are coming!

The holiday season is coming.

Our family is really looking forward to Daddy's birthday tomorrow and Thanksgiving in a few days!

And then comes the weeks leading up to Christmas, the celebration of our Savior's birth.

Our family is excited about a new book we have that celebrates the story of the nativity.

  

The First Christmas Night is a beautiful story.  The words are a poetic retelling of JESUS birth.  The illustrations are life-like, but also portray a magnificent supernatural quality fitting THE KING.

Laney, our newest reader at home, enjoys reading this story to her two students.  She tells me it will be even better to read later this week when our Christmas tree and decorations are up.
