Keaton

Keaton is our oldest son.  He came into the world in 2001 and changed our lives.  Isn't that what first children do?  You have thought your whole life what it would be like to be a Mom.  But even all your thoughts and love for children, and college education classes can't prepare you for all that you will be for the rest of your life to that child.  Besides being a daughter of the King and a wife, being a mom is my favorite job title.  Hardest, but most rewarding.

Keaton has always been full of life and joy.  He LOVES friends.  Always wants to have plans.  Where are we going today?  What are we doing today?  The more plans the better.  He is also a very good friend.  He is loyal, kind, and always wanting to include everyone.  That is one of my favorite things about him, his ability to see kids for who God made them to be and make them smile and feel special.  I think God gave him that gift to make him into a great leader someday.

Keaton also has the gift of faith.  He doesn't question why God does things, he simply says that is the way it is Mom.  When we first shared the hard news of Gaby passing away with Keaton as a 9 year old boy, he raised his hands to heaven and shouted "Yes.  God healed her.  She is in heaven."  That will be the faith that carries this boy through life.  So thankful for God's faithfulness in Keaton.
