laney's school program

Last night was so special.  Laney's preschool had their Spring Program.  Watching preschoolers worship God is fun.  After the program, the school had a Cupcake Sale to benefit Sixty Feet.  I get the honor of being the director at this school.  One of our teachers had this fun idea of how we could teach the kids about serving others and have a fun after-program snack at the same time.  So we began the journey of turning our school into a bakery!  Watching the staff and kids run with this idea was amazing.  Their creativity and excitement for this project was contagious.  I am so blessed to serve God with this group of ladies.  They bring me closer to Jesus and challenge me.  And they are just FUN!

Each class made these cute posters to display at the sale.

480 cupcakes, 70 kids and families, $760 raised for the children of Uganda

So many memories.  When my head hit the pillow (HARD!) last night I was filled with complete joy.  Some came from mere exhaustion at all the day was.  But most came from experiencing God use my daughter and her school friends to help children across the world.

BY far my favorite memory of the night was capturing this worship on my Laney's face as she sang the words..."I will trust you Lord with all my life".
