big day

Today at 3:30 we will go into a judge's chambers and testify as to our ability to be a parent. Please pray for peace, wisdom, and clarity for Gabe and I. Please pray for all who enter that room. We have been told that the lawyer representing Department of Child and Family Services and several case workers from DCF will be there. We are confident of the outcome of this hearing, as we know that God brought these babies into our lives to be their parents for a lifetime, not just a few days. But, that doesn't change the fact that we will be answering hard questions, and may even be criticized and scrutinized more than any person wants to be. We need you to pray for this time today. We need you to pray that the Spirit of God fills that room and protects us and our christian agency from any evil that would attempt to take glory away from Him. As one of our close friends encouraged us with today...

Remember we are standing in the gap.

Please, stand in that gap today. We love you all. Should be able to update later this evening.

  5. I have full confidence in your ability to answer the hard questions that may come your way today. I have a feeling the judge and caseworkers will be blown away by you two and will have no doubts on what is best for the girls. All of the kids and I will be praying together at 3:30 while you guys are in court. Can't wait to hear from you later.
