About us…We met at work through mutual friends while Kayla was still in high school. God was very gracious in leading us together over the years. Our story is long with many funny parts, but the most important part is that the Lord knew we could honor Him best by being together! We enjoyed a long engagement and a beautiful summer wedding in 2005 filled with family and friends. After 2 years of marriage, God placed it on our hearts to start our family. The Lord blessed us with our precious daughter, Lillian. In considering growing our family, we felt called to adopt. Adoption was a path we had eagerly talked about during our engagement so we were excited to journey down this path now. Our family is not complete, and we are bursting in anticipation to pour our love into another precious child. We are an affectionate and dedicated couple that enjoys the blessings of serving God together – we have seen how His timing is perfect in our lives and trust Him to always bring what is best.
Our hopes and dreams…Our greatest desire is to see the Lord be glorified through the lives of our children. We greatly desire to align our will with God’s will for our lives. As parents, if we pursue righteousness, our children will be blessed and live fruitful and peaceful lives. While the future is unknown, we can truly rest in the knowledge that our gracious God is in control.
