The Beginning of our adoption story

Our adoption journey began with paperwork in February.  We met with Gateway Woods and had our home study visits in March.  On April 8th, we received a phone call that there were twin girls in Florida that we were being considered for.  We began praying that God would chose the parents that He desired for these girls, believing that to be us.  On April 13th, we received the phone call that they had chosen us.  GOD CHOSE US!  We began making plans, which included raising $25,000 that was needed by April 22nd, finding a place to stay in Florida, details for the kids here, and wrapping up things with our jobs and responsibilites to be gone for two weeks.  Our children in Indiana began getting involved in the fun.  Keaton raised $20.20 at school by telling his friends about this story.  Kayden began telling everyone he knew to pray for Gaby Hope and Macy Jean.  Laney began shopping with Mommy for baby clothes and talking about all the things she is going to do with her new sisters.
